From carpentry to site supervision and project management, he is well-versed in all aspects of construction.

Benjamin's expertise spans everything from earthmoving to the final fit-out, ensuring reliable guidance for your project. With over 15 years specialising in custom timber joinery and timber staircases throughout NSW and Victoria, Ben adds a unique touch to your construction with his passion for working with natural timbers.

You can trust in the quality of Sandeman Build under Ben's leadership. Highly respected in the industry, he maintains great relationships with suppliers and contractors in Bendigo and wider Victoria. Outside of the business, Ben enjoys trail running, tending to his rural property, and working in the garden.

Meet Ruth, co-founding director of Sandeman Build, bringing a distinctive perspective to the building industry with her teaching background. Her organisational skills and team management experience have been key to Sandeman Build's success. Ruth's sharp eye for design ensures outstanding results for our clients, and her passion for home styling makes her a valuable part of the design process.

Beyond work, Ruth enjoys running with her local athletics club and spending time with her large, blended family of seven young adults. Her happy place is the beach, where she finds inspiration for her styling and design work. Ruth also loves exploring overseas, gaining fresh insights into design trends from around the world.

We are thrilled to introduce you to Peter, our highly experienced site supervisor at Sandeman Build, with 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Pete has worked on numerous commercial and residential builds, gaining valuable knowledge and expertise along the way. One of his most notable achievements is his own new home, which he completed with great attention to detail and precision, ensuring that every aspect of the project was executed flawlessly. Pete's meticulous approach to his work is evident in every project he manages, and his commitment to excellence is unwavering.

When he is not managing construction sites, Pete enjoys spending quality time with his children and attending music festivals to unwind and recharge. We are proud to have Peter as a part of our team at Sandeman Build and confident that his expertise and dedication will ensure the success of your project.

Heath’s construction journey started young, with the industry finding him early on. He quickly embraced the challenges and developed the skills necessary to excel. With 25 years of experience across domestic, commercial, civil, and landscaping projects, Heath finds immense satisfaction in bringing projects to life and seeing his craftsmanship make a lasting impact.

At Sandeman Build, Heath combines his extensive experience with humour, creating a cheerful and productive work environment. He is passionate about custom builds and enjoys the creativity they allow. Heath believes in treating others well and infusing work with a bit of light-hearted banter. Your project is in experienced, safe hands with Heath.

Outside of work, Heath cherishes time with his family, whether cheering on his kids at sports or exploring new places with their caravan. His dedication to both his craft and family makes him an invaluable asset to Sandeman Build.

We are delighted to introduce Ben, one of our highly skilled lead carpenters at Sandeman Build, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. With an impressive 7 years of experience in the construction industry, Ben is known for his positive demeanour and his unwavering commitment to seeing a project from the ground work through to the final fix out. He takes great pride in his work and enjoys the process of bringing a project to life.

When he is not busy working on projects, you will find him showcasing his talents on the footy field as a player for Eaglehawk Seniors, hitting the gym to stay in top shape, or enjoying quality time with his partner and extended family members.

Jason is a highly valued member of the Sandeman Build team, serving as a skilled lead carpenter. With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Jason began his career as an electrician and has since honed his carpentry skills to a level of excellence. He is renowned for his positive attitude, playful banter, and team spirit, which make him a pleasure to work with. Jason takes great pride in his work and is committed to delivering exceptional results.

When he is not engaged in building activities, Jason enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two boys. In his spare time, he is working on his own home renovation project, which is a testament to his passion for construction and his unwavering commitment to excellence and family.

Passionate about building and drawn to the outdoors, Jackson discovered his calling in construction, finding joy in creating and witnessing structures come to life. In his final year of apprenticeship with Sandeman Build, Jackson is a valuable asset to the team. Jackson takes pride in his craftsmanship, showcasing his skills on standout projects like the studio at Agora, where he enjoyed the fix out and flooring. His most rewarding moments involve hands-on tasks like framing, standing walls, trusses, and laying decking. A true team player, Jackson brings humour to the workplace, contributing to a positive work culture.

Beyond construction, he enjoys running with the Bendigo Bats and spending time with friends and family, balancing work with personal interests. Jackson is a dedicated craftsman and team player.

Owen is an integral member of the Sandeman Build team, contributing his passion and eagerness to learn in the construction industry. Inspired by the fascination of seeing structures come to life, Owen's career allows him to be hands-on, creative, and make a meaningful impact on the world. With his upbeat energy, he sets a tone that brings everyone around him into a good mood, fostering a positive work culture. The most rewarding aspect of Owen's job is witnessing the final result of a project and reflecting on the countless hours invested in bringing it to fruition.

Beyond the construction site, Owen plays football for the Huntly Hawks and finds enjoyment in hitting the gym. With two years in the industry, Owen's favourite part of a project is framing, where the dynamic nature of the job aligns with his passion for hands-on work and creativity.

Eli's interest in the construction industry started early, and work experience solidified his desire to pursue it as a career. Seeing the construction process up close excited Eli, and being a hands-on learner, he found it to be the perfect fit. Eli brings a positive attitude, encouragement, and a friendly face to the site. Now in the third year of his apprenticeship, Eli has accumulated experience in various aspects of building, both commercial and residential. His favourite aspect of construction is framing. Eli enjoys acquiring new skills and mastering aspects of the trade, finding great satisfaction in seeing the construction process come together.

When Eli is not on the job, he enjoys fishing, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends. These hobbies help him relax and recharge for work.

Josh is the newest addition to the Sandeman Build team, bringing a strong work ethic from his background in farming and experience as a licensed truck driver. Josh’s hands-on approach and enthusiasm for construction have made him a quick learner and a valuable asset. With his practical experience and a passion for building, Josh is excited to dive into his first year as an apprentice. Known for his positive attitude and willingness to help, Josh has quickly become a friendly and energetic presence on site. He enjoys working with a variety of materials and mastering new techniques, finding satisfaction in seeing projects come to life.

Outside of work, Josh’s love for the outdoors takes him camping and adventuring, activities that help him relax and recharge for the demands of construction. Josh’s dedication, eagerness to learn, and upbeat spirit make him a perfect fit for Sandeman Build.
